CW Kellock & Co have been the appointed brokers, auctioneers and valuers to the Admiralty Marshal of the Courts of Justice in England and Wales for over 150 years.

English Law is recognised world-wide, particularly in maritime matters, and, uniquely, it provides for the maximisation of returns to creditors through the proactive marketing of ships to be sold.

a. by creditors with assets arrested in other jurisdictions, who require the sale of those assets to be properly marketed worldwide;

b. by buyers intending to bid on vessels at auctions, wherever located.

Motor Fishing Vessel ‘White Heather VI’ SOLD

Built: 1981. Hull: Steel . GT: 86 . Length: 20.82m . Beam: 6.30m . Draft: 3.41m . Engine: Caterpillar 3412 -375kw Lister auxiliary in ER . Hydraulics: 3x split winches, Twin Rigg Split net drum & 5.5m Thistle lift crane and power block head . Electronics: 1 x Satellite communication system, 3 x ICOM DSC Vhf radio’s, JRC MF/HF DSC, 3 X Furuno GPS, JRC GPS 3D Compass, Koden & Furuno Radar, Furuno colour Sounder, Simrad auto-pilot, Neovo colour plotters.

 It appears (without guarantee) that in recent years the vessel  has had a new drive shaft, cleaned and painted water tanks, and cleaned fuel tanks. No fishing licence is offered with sale.

 The vessel was built and operated as a twin rigg trawler and before being laid-up operated as an offshore Guard Vessel. The vessel has been lying out of the water at Grimsby, UK, since about mid 2019.

Notice is hereby given that the Admiralty Marshal has sold the ship 'POSEIDON'’ by the order of the Admiralty High Court in an action in rem against the vessel by Arthuir Smith (Grimsby) Limited reference AD-2021-000042.. The gross proceeds of sale of the ‘POSEIDON’ in the sum of Euro 262,695 has been paid into Court.

The order of priority of the claims against the sale of the barge will not be determined by the Court until after the expiration of 28 days from this notice.
